In the 1960s, Penny, Darah and Dina Larson lived in an apartment above a storefront on busy Wayne Ave. in Philadelphia’s Germantown section. Beautiful Penny worked as a night nurse at Temple Hospital. Gorgeous Darah was a high-school junior studying to be a hairdresser. Homely Dina was a lonely, forlorn freshman. The Larson girls sought love in different ways. Penny wanted a love she didn’t have to share. Darah craved revenge on all males. Dina needed tender affection. All three experienced surprise, disappointment, and betrayal, on their paths to fulfillment. But they never lost their sense of family.
